Only lasted 3 years and 4 months with limited use.

Lasted 3 years and 4 months before the screen went black. Tried all the reset options but seems that one of the capacitors went bad. Sound still works. TV was only used about 3-4 days/week for maybe 2-3 hours/day by my son. Good while it lasted.

It WILL Break , and the warranty is short lived for a reason -- buyer beware

This TV is absolute garbage, and there is a reason there is only a one year warranty on it -- because TCL knows that it's not very likely to last much longer than that.My TV recently just went black for no apparent reason while watching it; it is mounted on the wall, and out of the way so nothing had hit it or damaged it to cause this issue. I have tried all of the basic troubleshooting that they offer, which really only involves unplugging and plugging it back in again and pressing a little reset button on the side.Their customer service is dismal and you will be met with a robotic AI that gives you troubleshooting steps unrelated to your issue, if you call them -- and if you write to them you will only get a generic message back with those same useless troubleshooting steps.I cannot recommend this TV to anyone, especially with better brands that offer better prices. I am disgusted by this whole experience with the company and with the tv, especially when you consider there are TV's that were made in the 80's and 90's that are still working without issue.Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, and buy from a company that values you as a customer and stands by their product.
