I'm satisfied overall with the function of this USB hub, linking mouse, printer, and external hard drive.I suspect that the majority of the negative reviews had to do with applications where charging of devices was desired by the user - for those applications, I suspect that a powered USB hub is required - that expecting the power to come from the computer that the hub i inserted into is the shortfall.
Great product
Great hub and I use it to attach other devices to my desktop. Works as intended.
Works very well - on Mac desktop, you have to plug in the USB into the back of the unit which can be a pain. With this, it makes the task much easier - works well - can't go wrong with this quality product.
