It is well made but I need it horizontal to see the screen above my laptop. It is barely high enough in horizontal position but then blocks the ipencil dock.
I love this stand. It works perfectly for me with plenty of support for my Samsung 11" tablet. It's good and solid, heavy even. Maybe I'm just uncoordinated (people have said so:) but you're going to need someone to get it in the stand. I can't see any way to hold out the part that grips the tablet and pick up the tablet to put it in there without 4 hands. Don't get me wrong. It's worth the price and much sturdier than I could have imagined. You do however need a buddy to get it set up.

We use it for a tablet that has a clock display for dementia patients, and it is highly visible to the entire room now. It is perfect for our needs.
